Sometimes walls can think. This comes from Genoa, where I’ve just presented my Lego Story book. Successful event, with many kids actively involved – but this sign on the road is today’s highlight. It says: no more facts, we want promises. A whole cultural anthropology manual summarized in a single line.

Think with your hands, look with your ears

And hear with your eyes.

Unbelievable

Seriously, there is still somebody watching television? Really?

Aesthetic Intelligence at work

Removing constraints with the help of the artist, opening other possibilities.

Melville and Cage, relatives and ancestors

Bartleby the Scrivener is not only a history of our beginnings as modern Trivial Machines. It is also the exact anticipation of Cage’s 4′ 33”, an almost perfect 99 years preview of that silence, a footprint of what Anesthetic Intelligence would become within the next century.

Rebuilding Babel without tough consequences

That is all

(at least for book advertising)

Your own town

I’m in love with my own town. Everything, here, seems full of unequaled beauty: a peculiar kind of beauty, impossible to find anywhere else. It is not very original, I suppose. Anyway, Stazione Centrale has been my Aesthetic Intelligence’s gym since I was an almost blind child. As my father use to tell me, it is the most beautyful railway station in the world – it is indeed.
